About Me
Once upon a time, I was just a curious kid with giant glasses and a wild imagination. That kid never fully grew up but he did get contacts.
As I grew older, my passion for storytelling only intensified. I became that teenager who never stopped talking and was always coming up with a story or a joke to entertain the room.
I wasn't much of a writer back then, dismissing it as something only serious people could do, so instead, I began a completely different journey into culinary arts. This was great for a time. I quickly made myself known and soon was in the spotlight as the top new chef in Ottawa.
But this still wasn't enough for me. I felt like I still had more stories to tell.
I began honing my storytelling skills by creating cooking videos and quickly realized that I had more of a skill for writing than I thought. Script after script fell from my printer before I decided to take the step and return to school to become a writer.
After some quick research, I found a course that would allow me to hone my skill as a wordsmith, while also experimenting with other mediums to bring my ideas to life. I began by writing news stories and essays, but soon discovered the power of visual storytelling.
From the moment I picked up a camera and started experimenting, I knew that I had just discovered a new way to reach people with my stories. I instantly fell in love with the process of capturing a single moment in time and giving it a story through my lens.
As I continued to explore my love for storytelling, I discovered the world of video production. I taught myself how to create videos, from scripting and storyboarding to filming to editing. I found that I had a knack for creating visually compelling content that could transport viewers to different worlds and tell stories in new and exciting ways. I began creating marketing videos, music videos, informational videos and more.
But my journey didn't stop there. I realized that storytelling is not limited to written and visual mediums. I started experimenting with audio and podcasting, and I found it to be an incredibly powerful medium as well. I discovered my love for hosting and the ability to connect with the audience on a deeper level while providing value through engaging and entertaining content.
Now, I am here. My passion for storytelling has led me on this journey to becoming a well-rounded content creator. I am confident that my skills and experience will make a real difference to your project and I look forward to working with you to bring your ideas to life.
